At Donald Trump’s Texas rally in San Antonio, at least six protesters reportedly stood up to express their opposition while he campaigned for Ken Paxton. Police escorted them out one by one. Trump claimed some demonstrators were paid, but offered no evidence in the remarks described. The incident highlights the role of peaceful protest and free speech in American democracy. Reporting by Mediaite’s Kathryn Wilkens brought attention to the disruptions and the individuals who chose to speak out.
