Two young twins were playing in their backyard when a Doberman broke through a fence and pulled them away from their sandbox. Believing the dog was attacking, their mother rescued the children and called emergency services. Surprisingly, the twins had no bite injuries, and the dog kept returning to dig at the sandbox. Moments later, a powerful explosion erupted beneath the yard, caused by an underground natural gas leak. Investigators concluded the dog had likely detected the gas and was trying to move the children to safety. The Doberman was later recognized as a hero for helping save the twins’ lives.
