A major multi-vehicle accident on the Mexico–Querétaro Highway caused chaos after a trailer reportedly failed to brake in time and crashed into several vehicles near the Jorobas intersection. Wet road conditions from heavy rain may have contributed to the collision, which left the trailer blocking all north-south lanes and forced partial highway closures. Paramedics quickly arrived to treat victims, most of whom suffered minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, headaches, and neck pain. Authorities urged those involved to seek medical evaluation, warning that adrenaline can hide serious symptoms after traumatic accidents.
