A recently declassified report from the U.S. House Intelligence Committee indicates that Russian forces deliberately withheld a considerable amount of opposition research regarding Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election. This revelation further casts doubt on the long-standing claim that foreign entities aimed to support President Donald Trump in that election year.
The report, released by Committee Chair Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR), provides a detailed summary of various allegations against Clinton, who resigned from her role as secretary of state in 2013 to prepare for her presidential campaign.
Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point, shared the findings of the report on X, which included:
Claims suggesting that Hillary was on “heavy tranquilizers” and experiencing “intensified psycho-emotional problems.”
Evidence indicating serious health issues such as type 2 diabetes and ischemic heart disease.
Internal communications from the DNC revealing that Obama and others found Hillary’s health to be “extraordinarily alarming.”
Evidence of clandestine meetings with religious leaders where Clinton proposed “significant increases in funding” from the State Department in exchange for their backing.
Internal Democratic acknowledgments that European allies were not enthusiastic about a Clinton presidency and believed she was unfit for the role of head of state.
One month prior to Election Day, Clinton’s average lead in the polls had diminished to merely +1.3% — a margin that Kirk asserted the damaging information could have potentially eradicated.
“If Russia was genuinely committed to supporting Trump and undermining Clinton, it would have disclosed this information,” he remarked.
“Conversely, Russia refrained from doing so — entirely disproving the fundamental premises of the Russia hoax.”
Instead of concealing the unfavorable research that Russian operatives supposedly possessed on Clinton, then-CIA Director John Brennan performed an analysis of the alleged Russian interference in the election. His report, which was presented to former President Barack Obama, encompassed the discredited Steele dossier and resulted in extensive assertions in the mainstream media that Trump gained from Russian involvement.
The ongoing saga surrounding Jeffrey Epstein has placed the Trump administration in a proactive stance as the president aims to mitigate dissatisfaction regarding his choice to withhold additional disclosures. He has assigned Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard the task of unveiling new information pertaining to the 2016 election, an initiative that persisted into Wednesday with the disclosure that a Presidential Daily Briefing dated December 9, 2016, which concluded that Russia had minimal or no involvement, was not shared with Obama and, by extension, Trump, who was the president-elect and would have been privy to it as well.
On Wednesday morning, Gabbard shared a series of posts on social media denouncing Obama for orchestrating “the most egregious weaponization and politicization of intelligence in American history.”
“In accordance with President [Trump’s] directive, I have declassified a report from the [U.S. House Intelligence Committee] oversight majority staff that reveals how the Obama Administration fabricated the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, which they were aware was false, propagating the LIE that Vladimir Putin and the Russian government assisted President Trump in winning the 2016 election,” she stated.
Earlier this month, a report from the U.S. House intelligence committee included a wealth of documents from Brennan’s investigation, demonstrating that Clinton was aware that her former advisor, Jake Sullivan, intended to “stir up” the Russia investigation to divert attention from the ongoing controversy regarding her missing emails.
