Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and now designated as President Trump’s chosen “border czar,” has disclosed a distressing personal impact of his prominent return to government duties—he is currently living apart from his wife due to a surge of death threats.
In a heartfelt interview with New York Post columnist Miranda Devine on her new podcast Pod Force One, Homan spoke candidly. “I spent a significant amount of time with my boys during their upbringing, but as I progressed further in my career—first as ICE director and now back again—I find that I do not see my family very often,” Homan stated.
“My wife is living separately from me at this moment, primarily because I work long hours, but mostly due to the death threats directed at me,” he continued.
“She is in a different location. I visit her as often as possible, but the death threats against me and my family are intolerable.”
