Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is under scrutiny regarding her long-held assertions of being a “Bronx girl” after high school yearbook images emerged, revealing that she attended school in Yorktown Heights, a suburban region approximately 40 miles north of New York City.

The controversy ignited following a heated exchange between Ocasio-Cortez and President Donald Trump. Trump criticized Ocasio-Cortez in an extensive social media post on Truth Social after she called for his impeachment, labeling her as “one of the dumbest people in Congress” and questioning her intelligence, education, and political views.

In his detailed post, Trump ridiculed her academic credentials, mentioned her test scores, and suggested that she should undergo a cognitive test similar to the one he claims to have recently “aced.” He also associated her with other progressive lawmakers such as Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), accusing them of endangering the nation through their “radical” policies and rhetoric.
