Billionaire Sunjay Kapur Dies at 53 After Polo Match Incident

Sunjay Kapur, 53, chairman of Indian auto parts company Sona Comstar, passed away on June 12 in Windsor, UK, after reportedly swallowing a bee during a polo match. He is believed to have suffered anaphylactic shock, a severe allergic reaction that can be fatal if not treated quickly.

Earlier that day, Kapur had posted a tribute on social media to the victims of the tragic Air India crash in Ahmedabad. His sudden death came as a shock to many.

Kapur was known for his love of polo and close ties with Prince William. Tributes described him as a generous and inclusive man who treated everyone equally, from staff to high-profile friends.
