When his parents enrolled little Johnny in a nearby Catholic school, the sluggish youngster who struggled with math saw a big shift. It surprised me that this choice gave him renewed drive.

Little Johnny went right to his room after his first day of school and worked hard on his math homework. He lost hours delving into the issues, resolved to find answers. The day after and the day after that saw the same pattern.

Unexpectedly, Little Johnny grinned and remarked, “I knew they meant business the moment I walked into my math class on Monday and saw a picture of a man nailed above the blackboard, symbolizing an addition operation!”
