In the photo shared on the royal court’s Instagram account, the colors of Melania’s outfit appear to be what the stylist confirmed them to be in reality.

The choice of outfit divided opinion, and commentators did not mince their words when discussing it.

“What on earth is Melania wearing…,” one person wrote, whose comment has garnered thousands of likes.

Some commentators believe that Queen Camilla and Melania Trump’s outfits may have been a deliberate choice. Camilla wore an elegant long blue dress.

Blue and yellow are the colors of the Ukrainian flag, so many people interpreted the wives’ choice of outfits as a statement in support of Ukraine.
