Henry Winkler Attends Hall of Fame Event with Loved Ones

Henry Winkler, best known as “The Fonz” from Happy Days, was inducted into the Television Academy’s 27th Annual Hall of Fame on August 17 at JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles. The honor was especially meaningful as it was presented by his longtime friend Bob Daly, whom Winkler inducted back in 2022. “Bob, I would not be here at this podium right now if it were not for you,” Winkler said in his heartfelt speech.

The evening was a family celebration, with Winkler’s wife of nearly 50 years, Stacey Weitzman, by his side. Their children and spouses—son Max, son Jed and his wife Amanda, and daughter Zoe with her husband Rob Reinis—joined them for photos capturing the milestone moment.

The ceremony also honored an impressive slate of television icons, including Viola Davis, Ryan Murphy, Conan O’Brien, composer Mike Post, and the late producer Don Mischer. Together with Winkler, they were enshrined for their contributions to shaping modern television.

On Sunday, Winkler shared a family photo on social media, writing: “An overwhelming night!!! Thank you, Television Academy.” His gratitude reflected both the weight of the recognition and the joy of experiencing it surrounded by family and colleagues.
