Patricia Clarke gave birth to Kevin Robert Clark in 1983, and he was a big boy—more than 16 pounds. At the time, he was possibly the biggest baby born in all of New Jersey and the largest newborn at Community Memorial Hospital. Kevin was healthy despite his odd stature and quickly rose to fame, making appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.”
Kevin’s height kept making news as he grew to 6’5′′ by junior high and 5’7′′ by age 12. With a laugh, he mentioned his height, joking that he was five feet twenty-one inches. I inquire about miniature golf when someone asks if I play basketball.
Kevin, who is 40 years old and 6 feet 9 inches tall, is used to the attention. “It seems like every day someone asks me how tall I am,” he remarked. Kevin, a former soldier, currently resides with his Great Dane and 6-foot tall wife. With his unusual gait, he has mastered the art of world navigation.
